Alia Bhatt, Allu Arjun, Kriti Sanon Clinch Major Wins at 69th National Film Awards: Complete Winners List


The 69th National Film Awards, which recently celebrated excellence in films certified by CBFC in 2021, extended eligibility to some of the 2022 releases. Allu Arjun, the star of “Pushpa: The Rise – Part One,” was named the Best Actor of 2021 for his Telugu blockbuster.

In the Best Actress category, the honors were shared by Alia Bhatt for “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and Kriti Sanon for “Mimi.”

Pankaj Tripathi received the award for Best Supporting Actor for “Mimi,” while Pallavi Joshi won Best Supporting Actress for “The Kashmir Files.” The title of Best Film was bestowed upon R Madhavan’s directorial debut, “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect,” while the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film On National Integration was presented to Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Kashmir Files.”

The renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” earned the accolade for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, as well as the title of Best Telugu Film. Here are some of the notable winners:

The event also recognized other categories, including Best Music Director, Best Lyrics, Best Playback Singers, Special Jury Award, Best Choreography, Best Cinematography, and more.

After his win, Pankaj Tripathi, who had recently lost his father, expressed his emotions in an official statement, dedicating the National Award to his late father. He also congratulated Kriti Sanon, who won the Best Actress award.
