Over 1 Lakh Frontline Associates, Staff, Dependents Vaccinated By Amazon India

Amazon on Wednesday said, over one lakh people, including frontline associates, employees and their dependents were vaccinated by Amazon India. The first on-site vaccination event for frontline teams was launched three weeks ago. These sessions are currently being hosted in 26 cities, including cities, Ludhiana, Ranchi, and Raipur in conjunction with licensed healthcare partners. The company will continue to expand these events to more cities and towns like Mysore, Surat, and Indore over the coming weeks, a statement said.

As India actively fights against the effects of the deadly second wave of coronavirus infections, several organisations across the country have come forth to extend relief efforts. Amongst which, a significant number of people were vaccinated by Amazon India. “The on-site vaccination drive strengthens Amazon India’s commitment to make vaccination a ready choice for 10 lakh people, including employee, partner, and SMB sellers, and their dependents,” there statement said.
