Before starting her fashion portal with fashion designers as suppliers, she was exploring the idea of an economical online store selling stuff from local bulk manufacturers. ‘The pieces were quite pocket-friendly, but there was not much customer satisfaction. This was because most of the designs were the first copy of the products shown in the picture. The market review motivated me to get more authentic products/designer pieces, and thereby I started collaboration with the fashion designers PAN India. Also, this needed my company to be registered formally and build a trust factor among designers. So, I went for the LLP registration of the firm under the name Luxortrends Vastralaya LLP and got the GST number.’

Advice For Budding Entrepreneurs

‘Firstly, I would call upon entrepreneurs to hire college students in respective fields as interns, as this would save a lot in salaries during the start-up stage. Also, it would be beneficial to society too. Furthermore, during the start-up stage, it is essential to give maximum work hours and not stick to 8 hours work day. A lot of inputs are needed in the initial stage. So, work flexi-time. Have a company vision and share this among the employees.’ Anita Gajjar, founder of Luxortrends.
