AdCount Technologies acquires Posify Solutions


AdCount Technologies Pvt. Ltd., which runs SupplyNote, a business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, announced on Tuesday that it had bought Posify Solutions for an undisclosed amount.

A statement released says that the deal will allow SupplyNote to get all of Posify’s restaurant-focused clients and help it reach its goal of doubling its client base in the next fiscal year.

SupplyNote was started in 2019 by Kushang, who is the chief executive officer, Abhishek Verma, Nitin Prakash, and Harshit Mittal. The company has a strong presence in the Delhi-NCR region, with clients like Burgrill, Slay Coffee, Bakingo, Vadilal, Natural’s, Biryani By Kilo, ZFW Hospitality, Nazeer’s Foods, Burgerama, Theos, Wat-a- In the fiscal year 2021-22, it signed up 2,750 new clients. In the fiscal year 2022-23, it wants to sign up another 7,000 new clients.

SupplyNote can connect to most point-of-sale (POS) platforms to get sales data for automating inventory. The statement said that when SupplyNote bought Posify solutions, it also bought the company’s intellectual property and team.

“The food & beverage industry has to endure huge losses due to inventory mismanagement since most outlets still use pen and paper to track and manage their inventory. There is no digital record of consumption, which leads to human errors. SupplyNote as a solution can help businesses cut down their cost of operations while helping them increase their profit margins by reducing losses caused due to mismanagement,” said Kushang, co-founder and CEO, SupplyNote.  

The company announced it can help its clients increase their bottom-line profits by 70% by cutting costs and expenses in the supply chain for restaurants and hotels. It saves about 4% of net revenue from theft and pilferage, up to 6% of unnecessary costs by making better use of resources, about 8% of overpriced purchases, and about 2% on human resources. SupplyNote is in 83 cities in India presently, and it wants to grow to 50 more cities so that it can serve customers there.
