At a 3x valuation, PrimeOS raises $1 million in a seed round

In its most recent investment round, PrimeOS, an operating system for laptops based on Android that was designed specifically for students, gave exits to its investors at a 3x valuation.
In the most recent round, which was headed by the Kundan Group, Brindavan Group, HNI, and Infotel Business Solution, the Delhi-based business raised almost $1 million in the capital. Following this, in just four years, it has provided exits to its early backers, Venture Catalysts, and a few angel investors.
Chitranshu Mahant and Aman Verma, both graduates of IIT Delhi, founded PrimeOS in 2017. It has had over three million organic downloads from 140 different nations.
About primeOS
To convert Android OS to older PCs, an open-source operating system called PrimeOS is used. Multi-window functionality with options to maximize, minimize, shut, and resize the window is one of the system’s features. Additionally, it offers a choice to turn off multi-window for any application, a desktop experience similar to AOSP with only the features you actually need, a key mapping tool so you can play games with a keyboard and mouse, etc.
Delhi is the headquarters of PrimeOS, which was established in 2017. primeOS’s official name is Floydwiz Technologies Private Limited. Chitranshu Mahant Aman Verma founded it. The operating system is primeOS’s key focus.
