LetsVenture’s co-founder Shanti Mohan introduces a micro-VC fund named Propell

Shanti Mohan, a co-founder of LetsVenture, established Propell, a micro VC fund, with the goal of investing about Rs 50 crore in 30 firms. Propell is a dedicated vehicle hosted on the Cat 1 Angel AIF LetsVenture Angel Fund.
Propell has invested in a variety of firms in 15 startups including e-commerce, finance, SaaS, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) like Jar, GoBillion, Zaamo, Aulerth, Seekho.ai, and others. Along with a number of well-known angel investors, the fund has co-invested with Y Combinator, Sequoia, Accel, Tiger Global, and 3one4 capital.
Shanti Mohan, co-founder and CEO said, “I think this is a perfect time for me to invest and work closely with founders who are developing for the next billion dollar opportunity in India. I firmly believe that given the present slowdown, now is an excellent time for early-stage investors to collaborate with some of the top innovators who are developing sustainable business models.”

Vikas Choudhury, President of Reliance Jio and Partner at Pivot Ventures, as well as Sudhi Herle and Vivek Khare, Advisors for Corporate Development and Early Stage Investments at Naukri.com, serve as the foundation of Propell Fund (Engineering, Android Platform at Google). The growth of India over the following ten years will be greatly boosted by its digital entrepreneurs, according to Jio’s Vikas Choudhury.
