McDonald’s India Joins ONDC Network to Enhance Customer Accessibility


McDonald’s India – North and East has announced its partnership with ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) Network to enhance customer accessibility through additional digital platforms. According to Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director of McDonald’s India – North and East, the collaboration signifies their efforts to bring the McDonald’s experience closer to both existing and new customers. He stated, “We are excited to announce our collaboration with the ONDC Network. This is a significant step in our journey of making the McDonald’s experience more accessible to existing and new customers.”

Through this partnership, McDonald’s India North and East menu will now be available across ONDC buyers’ applications, offering exclusive ala carte and meal options. T Koshy, MD, and CEO of ONDC, highlighted the significance of McDonald’s integration with the ONDC Network, stating, “McDonald’s India integration with the ONDC Network marks a monumental milestone in our journey to revolutionize digital commerce across the country.”

The move underscores the growing acceptance and trust established brands like McDonald’s have in ONDC’s open, inclusive, and interoperable Network. By integrating with the ONDC Network, McDonald’s North and East India aims to leverage technology to expand its reach and better serve customers.

McDonald’s India – North and East operates through various formats, including freestanding restaurants, drive-thrus, and restaurants open round-the-clock, in addition to McDelivery. They employ over 6,000 employees directly and serve millions of customers annually at their 200 outlets throughout North and East India.
