Coaching helps you get hired

A scientist with over 50 published research papers walked in with an audacious goal. He  wanted to assume a CXO role with an MNC in the USA within 5 years. But he lacked the corporate experience and the ‘executive persona’.

Coaching prepared him for the role, from learning to read balance sheets to ‘walk & talk’ like a CEO. Coaching helped the client fulfill his dream within 11 months. Three  years on, the scientist-turned-CXO is still living his dream, and acing it.

Coaching gets you promoted

A Fortune 100 company CEO suddenly decided to retire early. Three senior executives were identified as candidates for the top post. Subash was called in to prepare them, one of them the Sales Head, for the role. In coaching sessions, they identified limitations and the client worked on them. At the end of the six month engagement, the company found the Sales Head CEO-worthy. He was chosen over the other two candidates.

Coaching gets you fulfillment

Coaching creates enduring behavioral shifts in clients by breaking dysfunctional habits. A senior CXO was in trouble at work and home due to anger management issues. He sought to turn his life around through coaching with Subash. The coaching engagement enhanced self-awareness, prompting the client to identify alcoholism as one of the problem areas affecting his performance. He unilaterally quit drinking. With this his related anger issues and other self-limiting habits and beliefs vanished. Needless to say, his personal and workplace relationships improved, and so did his work.

Another client experimented with coaching in dire circumstances – when he was fired from his job. The client was distraught and took to coaching with Subash as a last resort.

Through coaching, he set goals for what he would like his life to look like at the age of 60. This included transitioning into a VP role in an MNC, handling a large area, clearing his debt, and buying a villa overseas. The client ticked all the boxes well before the age of 60!
