IG Drones Awarded Contract for Routine Monitoring of Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project

India’s leading enterprise drone solutions company IG Drones has been awarded the yearly contract to carry out routine monitoring of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project. This project is a massive infrastructure development initiative in India, and the involvement of IG Drones is crucial for its effective execution and upkeep, particularly since it was supposed to be finished this year.

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project is a fast railway line under construction that will connect Mumbai and Ahmedabad cities. The project aims to transform transportation in India by offering a quicker and more effective means of travel for both people and goods.

IG Drones, a company that has developed its own drones with advanced sensors, will be using them to monitor work progress periodically on the ground. The decision to go through Thane was made to keep the possibility of linking the corridor to Pune open.

The information gathered on-site will undergo analysis using IG One, a software exclusively owned by the company that offers comprehensive technical data and analytics. The resulting report will serve as a tool for government authorities and regulatory agencies to monitor the project’s advancement.

IG Drones Skyhawk, India’s first 5G-enabled drone, was recently launched by Shri Ashwin Vaishnaw, the Honourable Minister of Railways and IT. The drone has a VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) System that allows it to operate from any terrain without the requirement of a traditional runway. It has an IP67 rating and can be navigated using Navic + GPS Navigational Satellites. Moreover, it can function via satellites in situations where an internet connection is not accessible.
