Founder’s Journey

Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya and Om Prakash founded IG Drones which began when they were in their engineering college. The founders received a lot of help from their college’s alumni when they first decided to explore this industry. Prakash mentions that their university’s alumni network is the largest in Eastern India.

By industry experts, IG Drones is currently India’s leading Enterprise Drone Solution provider for drone surveying, mapping, and inspection with headquarters in Delhi and branches in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bangalore, and Bhubaneswar.

 Mission & Vision

Through its world-class drone-solution technology, IG drones aims to provide the best quality services to industrial and government enterprises. They currently serve PAN India in the areas of GIS Survey, Topographic Survey, Drone Inspection, Drone Mapping, Powerline Monitoring, Smart City Survey, Road Inspection & Survey, Mines Survey, Flood Assessment, Asset Monitoring, Solar Thermal Inspection, Security and Surveillance, Crop Health Monitoring, Volumetric Measurement, Drone 3D Mapping & Modelling, Aerial Photography & Videography, and others.

In collaboration with government missions, the company envisions a future for Indian youth that includes drones. Om Prakash asserted, “If there is no one to compete with in the market, then you’re probably in the wrong market.” He believes that by 2030, India will be the global leader in drones.

Collaboration

IG Drones has partnered with multiple State Governments and 30 of the biggest PSU’s and MNCs and has executed more than 250 Projects. They’ve collaborated with big enterprises like Reliance Power, Adani, Indian Oil, The World Bank, Aditya Birla Hindalco, Aditya Birla Renewable, Indian Railways to name a few.

Covid War

Not only did IG Drones overcome the Covid situation, but their special team also assisted the government in sanitation.

Aside from Covid, their superior drone mapping and surveying abilities have assisted the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in reducing the severity of disaster-prone areas. IG Drones were on the ground during Cyclone Fani (2019), the worst tropical cyclone to hit the Indian state of Odisha since the 1999 Odisha cyclone. IG Drones also assisted during Cyclone Amphan and the Maharashtra Floods, to name a few natural calamities.
