SaaS startup Emitrr raises $ 4 million in Pre-Series A funding led by Chiratae Ventures

Emitrr, a SaaS firm, has secured $4 million (Rs 31 crore) in a pre-Series A funding round-headed by current backers Chiratae Ventures, Venture Highway, FortyTwo VC, & Axilor Ventures. The freshly injected money will be used largely to grow the company’s go-to-market activities and develop product capabilities to tackle deeper challenges for local firms, such as payments.

“With firms like Amazon and Uber providing world-class customer experiences, end users’ expectations have risen – they want identical digital trips from all enterprises.” “When our end user interacts with a local company, our platform enables that experience,” said Anmol Oberoi, creator of Emitrr. Oberoi, a US-based firm founded in 2020, is a communication platform that uses SMS as a way of communication. Emitrr is used by over 150 corporate brands, mostly in healthcare and home services, to allow digital experiences & automation for their clients through a variety of solutions. The firm claims to be in charge of over a million clients’ data.

Several SaaS-based firms from various categories have recently raised investment. Qapita, a VC-backed SaaS business, bought Pune-based ESOP Direct in an all-cash purchase last week. Detect Technologies, an artificial intelligence-based SaaS firm, raised $28 million in a Series B round headed by Prosus Ventures and previous investors Accel, Elevation Capital, Shell Ventures, Bharat Innovation Fund, and Blue Hill Capital in mid-July.

Shiprocket, a logistics company funded by Temasek, paid Rs 200 crore last month for Arvind Ltd’s omnichannel software-as-a-service (SaaS) system, Omuni. Toplyne Labs Pte. Ltd, which operates an eponymous software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform, was one of the larger stock transactions. Tiger Global & Sequoia Capital India co-led the $15 million series A fundraising deal.
