In a bid to boost entrepreneurship in the area, the Social Development Bank (SDB) of Saudi Arabia has pledged SAR 24 billion ($6.4 billion) to fund small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs over the next three years.

As per a statement issued by the SDB, the aim is to empower entrepreneurs and enable them to play a significant and impactful role while boosting the involvement of small and emerging businesses in the Saudi Arabian economy.
