Encore AI bags $30 million to deploy agentic AI across customer interactions

Encore AI has raised $30 million in a Series A round as it looks to expand its agentic AI platform for customer interactions. The company, formerly known as Insait, is building tools that learn from real customer conversations and operational data, then turn the best-performing human behaviours into AI agents that can support sales, service, and support teams more effectively. The round was led by Team8, Planven, and The Garage, with participation from Y. Lukatz Tech Investments and several banks and insurers that were already using the platform as customers.

What sets Encore AI apart is the way it approaches automation. Instead of focusing only on reducing costs or deflecting calls, the company says its platform is designed to drive revenue and improve customer experience. It studies interactions across phone calls, chat, email, landing pages, and CRM systems, then identifies the patterns that top performers use to close deals or solve problems faster. Those learnings are then turned into AI agents that can either work independently or assist human representatives in real time.

This makes the platform especially relevant for regulated industries, where security, consistency, and compliance matter as much as speed. By training on a company’s own data, Encore AI aims to make automation feel less generic and more aligned with the way each business already works. That could make the product easier to adopt for enterprises that want AI to fit into existing workflows instead of replacing them.

The fresh funding will be used to support global expansion and product development. For Encore AI, the challenge now is not just proving that the technology works, but showing that it can deliver measurable business outcomes at scale. In today’s enterprise AI market, that is often the difference between an interesting product and a lasting company.

More broadly, the raise reflects where investor interest is heading in AI. Backers are increasingly looking at companies that can show clear customer traction, real deployment, and practical value rather than only technical novelty. Encore AI sits squarely in that space, combining agentic automation with enterprise use cases that are easy to understand and difficult to ignore. If it executes well, the company could emerge as a notable player in the next wave of AI tools built to learn from people and amplify what they do best.
