AWS launches re:Post, a new community-driven Q&A service
AWS announced re:Post, a new community-driven question and answer service meant to help AWS customers overcome technical challenges, during its annual re:Invent conference. The new service is part of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Free Tier. The community of AWS customers, partners, and staff, according to AWS, is driving re:Post.
“AWS re:Post is an AWS-managed Q&A service that replaces the original AWS Forums by providing crowd-sourced, expert-reviewed responses to your technical questions about AWS,” the firm noted in a blog post about the announcement. “By giving acceptable answers and reviewing answers from other users, community members can earn reputation points to increase their community expert status, assisting in the continuous expansion of public knowledge across all AWS services.”
Customers will find re:Post to be an excellent resource when building an application on AWS and have a technical issue about an AWS service or best practises, according to the business. It may also be useful for customers who are learning about AWS or studying for an AWS certification. AWS also claims that re:Post could be useful when customer teams are debating design or operations concerns on AWS.
Finally, you may use the service to share your AWS knowledge with the community and establish a reputation as a community expert.
