Volopay raises $29 million in Series A round


Volopay, a Singapore-based provider of corporate cards and expenditure management software, raised $29 million in a Series A investment that included both equity and debt.

Since its inception, Volopay has grown at an exponential rate. Antler, Dathena, CoinDCX, Livspace, MPL, InVideo, and MX Media are among the platform’s 150+ members, who are scattered across Singapore, Australia, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Volopay raises $29 million in Series A round

After establishing bases in Singapore and Australia, the Y Combinator-backed platform plans to enter the Indian market by the end of March 2022. It also intends to expand in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in the near future.

The funds will be used to fund upcoming market launches, the development of additional complementary technologies, and the hire of fresh personnel. It will also improve its integrations with prominent ERP, HRM, and CRM software, as well as leading project management software.
