Saxena joins FACE from the Microfinance Institutions Network (MFIN) and has over two decades of expertise in microfinance, social-economic development, technology, and non-profit organizations. She played a major role in creating the microfinance industry as the Head of Self-Regulation and Compliance at MFIN, an SRO for the microfinance sector, with interactions with regulators and industry stakeholders to formulate and enforce ethical principles for the industry. She has a wide range of experience directing industry-building efforts through the trade association and the SRO. Saxena has also worked for ITC, Bharat Electronics, and the Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) of Bharat.

Saxena holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from MNNIT in Allahabad and a master’s degree in social policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
