Embracing Uniqueness: EVERI’s Journey to Redefine Shapewear and Equality

“In a world obsessed with appearances, our true essence lies in embracing our uniqueness.” – Pranaya Wasan, Founder of EVERI Shapewear

In the exciting world of starting businesses, where new ideas meet meaningful goals, 16-year-old Pranaya shines as a symbol of making things better. Driven by a desire to challenge societal norms, she embarked on a journey that led to the creation of two impactful ventures: EVERI Shapewear and a philanthropic initiative named EQUAL. EVERI & EQUAL embodies Pranaya’s commitment to equality and self-expression. With that said, let’s dive into Pranaya Wasan’s journey and the transformative impact of EVERI and EQUAL on society.

The reason behind the start

The interview commenced as Pranaya shared that she draws inspiration from her trailblazing mother, Ekta Wasan, the first working woman in their family. Her father, Tarun Wasan, serves as an unwavering pillar of support. With all the motivation from them, she started her journey.

“EVERI is a reminder that we are more than our faces and bodies; we have our unique thoughts and perspectives.” This was the initial thought of Pranaya while starting.

What sets EVERI apart in the world of shapewear?

On August 26, 2023, EVERI was launched as a response to societal pressures that often prioritize appearance over individuality. Shapewear, for us, is not about conforming to unrealistic standards but enhancing confidence and celebrating natural beauty. “We believe in embracing diverse body shapes and sizes, prioritizing comfort without compromising on quality,” Pranaya highlighted.

EVERI advocates for body positivity while recognizing the impact of obesity on health. We actively promote a healthy lifestyle through Instagram, offering simple and achievable ways to enhance well-being. The products are meticulously designed to cater to all body types, ensuring comfort and durability. EVERI is more than just shapewear; it’s a movement that encourages individuals to confidently embrace their bodies.

EQUAL, your philanthropic initiative, shares a mission of promoting acceptance and empowerment. How does it align with EVERI’s goals?

Launched on August 4, 2020, EQUAL is a philanthropic initiative addressing sensitive topics related to equal rights. Pranaya added, “EQUAL encourages understanding and awareness about equality, fostering a world where everyone is treated with respect.”

EVERI  goes beyond the realm of shapewear, aiming to inspire awareness and understanding about equality. EQUAL and EVERI share a common goal – promoting acceptance and empowerment.

How has the audience responded to EVERI and EQUAL’s commitment to diversity and body positivity?

The response to EVERI and EQUAL has been overwhelmingly positive. Customers appreciate the commitment to diversity, body positivity, and the high-quality materials used in the shapewear. EVERI has resonated with a diverse audience and EQUAL embraces the message of self-love and equality.

The Future of EVERI & EQUAL

Looking ahead, Pranaya said that she envisions EVERI becoming a symbol of self-love and body positivity. She aspires to redefine shapewear further, fostering a culture where individuals feel empowered to embrace their uniqueness. With EQUAL, the goal is to inspire more advocates for equality, contributing to a world where everyone is treated with respect and understanding.  Looking forward to the future, she shared, “In challenges lie opportunities; adaptability is the key to navigating turbulent times.”

The entire interview went motivating with Pranaya’s journey which is marked by a commitment to positive change and exemplifies the potential of youth-driven initiatives. Pranaya’s EVERI and EQUAL stand as beacons of a cultural shift, promoting self-love, body positivity, and equality. As Pranaya continues to lead this charge, EVERI becomes more than a product and EQUAL becomes movements that inspire and empower.
