“I started Crop Source One to solve the hiring challenges faced by entrepreneurs and startups in India. As the startup scene started booming I realized that this was the perfect opportunity to jump in,” said Mr. Sanjay Sinha, CEO of Corp Source One in an exclusive interview with Startup Story.

Sanjay Sinha the founder of Corp Source One has been working in HR for more than 20 years. He initially started out in consulting firms where he helped multiple clients in the recruitment process. He joined these companies while they were just beginning and helped them to scale into something much bigger. After seeing the booming startup scene in India a few years back he decided to capitalize on his talents to help emerging startups. After working for multiple firms and helping them with their recruitment process Mr. Sinha worked for large corporations like Fiserv, and Cognizant and then for SCA Technologies. He played an immensely important role in the growing stages of these organizations. 

Since its inception Corp Source One has functioned with the aim of making the process of talent acquisition an easy task. Under the leadership of Sanjay Sinha, they help their clients with performance management and talent management to deliver their products and launch their projects on time.

The Company Overview and Functioning 

Corp Source One (CSO) was launched four years ago in 2018 with the goal of helping organizations with the process of hiring and onboarding talent. They help both early-stage companies and large organizations in acquiring the best talents for their respective organizations. The company boasts of delivering services to its clients within a span of 48 hours. As the startup ecosystem in India continues to grow, more and more organizations are finding it hard to find proper talent to run their businesses. This is where CSO plays a huge role.

Since its early days, the company has had a diverse team of personnel from different professional backgrounds. Some of them have worked with organizations to help them with recruitment while some of them are from IT backgrounds. The entire company functions with a huge workforce to deliver upon the expectations of its clients. Since all companies are looking for top talents for their organizations, CSO’s skilled and efficient team aims to find these talents as quickly as possible.

So far, Corp Source One has been able to maintain a satisfactory experience for their clients where they have a high client retaining rate. Their success in providing quality resources within the required amount of time has catapulted their growth so far. Since starting out in 2018 they have come a long way as a consulting firm. 

The company is mostly dedicated to helping emerging startups, IT, and non-IT clients who need to onboard skilled personnel in a short time span. They also help in the closing of leadership and CXO positions. Since its foundation four years ago the company has come a long way in hiring talents and onboarding them. Their clients range from series C, series B funded startups to fintech and e-commerce startups. These companies require IT and hardcore tech talents who are selected from a huge pool of available talent.

In spite of having a lot of companies in the same segment, Corp Source One has managed to meet client expectations and is moving in the right direction. Its founder Sanjay Sinha boasts of delivering the required resources for their times within a short period of time. According to him, this is what makes them unique where they promise their clients to find the required talent and resources within forty-eight hours. 

The startup has a total workforce of twenty-five people who work in an open and friendly environment. Their office in Greater Noida and Bangalore has open workspaces where all the staff members work together. Mr. Sanjay Sinha told us that he likes to work in an open environment where everyone is free to engage with each other for sharing thoughts and ideas. 

He also said that so far they have been able to maintain a friendly and healthy work environment by making sure that their staff members don’t get burdened with strict deadlines. The company believes in a proper work-life balance where staff members are rewarded with timely incentives. Mr. Sinha further said that their incentive plan is extraordinarily good where a team member’s incentive can start from 5% and reach up to 20% depending upon his/her work. All the team members at CSO work with a client-first approach where they are always in touch with their clients. They do so by making themselves accessible to the clients and consistently following up. 

As far as the investments are concerned the company is completely bootstrapped where they work with their own capital and are not looking for any investments from the market. The company did an excellent job during the pandemic when a lot of people were open to working from home during the lockdown. All in all, they maintained their positive growth rate and according to Mr. Sinha, the pandemic was a blessing in disguise for them.

Advice for Young Entrepreneurs 

The founder of Corp Source One believes in doing everything as quickly as possible. He believes that the timely delivery of a client’s requirements is the most important thing. For young entrepreneurs, he believes that if they have an idea and want to get it out in the market then the only thing that matters is how quickly they can act upon it.
