Settl, a co-living startup in Northern India, has expanded its operations

Settl, a technology-enabled managed accommodation platform, has announced its expansion into North India.

It is establishing four new facilities in Gurugram, NCR, with a total capacity of 200 beds. The accommodation start-up arose from the need for a platform that enables convenient city living.

It has grown to 22 properties in three cities: Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Gurugram, in just 18 months.

“It’s a tedious task for a newbie in the city to scout for safe and comfortable accommodation,” said Ashok Reddy Sagar, Co-Founder of Settl, speaking at the expansion.

The entire procedure is accompanied by the baggage of a broker, an agreement, a location, a facility, and an advance, among other things. Settl was created with the goal of removing all of these annoyances from a person’s first city experience. We provide end-to-end solutions, which include everything a facility or service might require.”

“Following the overwhelming response in Bangalore and Hyderabad, we are now venturing into Gurugram, where we anticipate a similar response.” In the context of the Indian economy, Gurugram is a very important city. It also draws a large number of young working professionals who relocate there to pursue their professional goals. “We want to make a huge difference in these people’s lives so that they can excel in their fields,” Reddy added.

Settl takes a thoughtful approach to its facilities, going above and beyond standard lodging to provide an immersive living experience. It’s also creating the ‘Settl Community,’ which fills in the gaps in users’ lives when they move to a new city far away from their families and hometown.

The company has established a strong presence in Bangalore and Hyderabad, and it is now planning a similar expansion in Gurugram. Settl currently has 1200 beds in operation, with plans to expand to 3000 beds by December 2022.

By the end of 2022, the brand intends to provide 1000 beds in Gurugram alone. The company has ambitious expansion plans in cities such as Delhi-NCR, Pune, and Chennai. The startup recently received a $500K seed round from ah! Ventures, We Founder Circle, and other investors.
