Pinnacle Investments leads a Rs 16 crore fundraising round for edtech platform Saarthi Pedagogy


Saarthi Pedagogy, an edtech startup based in Ahmedabad, has secured Rs 16 crore in a pre-series A round-headed by Pinnacle Investments. The startup hopes to develop a long-term, capital-efficient edtech business that will positively touch the lives of millions of Indian kids who attend low-cost institutions.

The funds raised will be utilized for product enhancement, technology team ramp-up, content production, and sales coverage extension, according to the company. Saarthi will also be looking to attract senior expertise after this fundraising round, according to a business representative.

In August 2021, Saarthi raised $1 million in its first seed round, with participation from JITO Angel Network, LetsVenture, Ecosystem Ventures, and other angel investors. Saarthi has had tremendous success, catering to roughly 850 schools and 85,000 pupils, according to the firm, which plans to sign up 2,000 schools and 2,00,000 students for the academic year 2022-23.

Pinnacle Investments is a family office of real estate group Prestige promoter Irfan Razack and chief executive Venkat K Narayana. The cash will be used to improve the company’s products, expand its technological staff, create new content, and increase sales.

Saarthi is a B2B edtech firm that offers a technology platform for all aspects of K-12 education. It sells goods to help teachers improve their pedagogy or teaching methods, as well as teacher training programs.
