NAFA Capital, an asset management business, said on Friday that it has partnered with Creativeland Asia, a marketing and communications platform, to launch an early-stage fund worth Rs 250 crore (about $ 33 million).
The Venture Landscape Fund, according to the Mumbai-based firm, will be used to help early-stage brands and enterprises who have found product-market fit and are looking to invest in marketing to increase growth by enrolling more consumers. It also aspires to support consumer-first companies that are disruptive.
NAFA Capital is a private equity, public equity, debt, wealth management, and financial consulting focused integrated financial services platform based in India. It is a subsidiary of the UAP Group and specializes in asset management, investment banking, and sustainable investing.
Creativeland Asia, on the other hand, began as a marketing communications agency and has evolved into a design, user experience, technology, consumer insights, and market research production organization over the previous 14 years.
According to the website, the fund has already made investments in three consumer brands: Native Milk, Spice Story, and Macmerise. It also claimed to have collaborated with companies such as India Today Group, Cafe Coffee Day, Jio Savvn, and Aviva.
