Sprect Secures INR 50 Lakhs in Angel Funding, Led by Siddarth Shetty

Sprect, a burgeoning consumer-to-consumer (C2C) consulting marketplace, has announced a significant milestone with the successful raising of INR 50 lakhs in angel funding. The investment was spearheaded by Siddarth (Sid) Shetty, a seasoned industry veteran currently serving as Chief Business Development Officer at ServiceChannel.
This infusion of capital marks an exciting new chapter for Sprect, founded by Mohit Khadaria and Vishal Rupani in August 2023. The platform, succinctly named for “Super Connect,” aims to bridge the gap between individuals and professionals across diverse fields, making expert advice readily accessible online.
With the funding, Sprect intends to accelerate its product development, expand its team, bolster marketing efforts, and enhance its sales initiatives. The core focus remains on refining the platform’s capabilities to facilitate seamless one-on-one interactions between users and leading professionals (PROs).
Siddarth Shetty’s extensive leadership experience spanning operations, business development, and marketplace strategy positions him as a valuable addition to Sprect’s journey. Notably, Shetty played a pivotal role at ServiceChannel, contributing to its eventual acquisition by Fortive for $1.2 billion in 2021.
Commenting on his investment, Siddarth Shetty expressed enthusiasm for Sprect’s innovative approach to democratizing access to expertise. He highlighted the platform’s impressive growth in attracting a pool of professionals without traditional advertising spend, underscoring its potential to unlock new monetization avenues for PROs across various backgrounds.
In response to Shetty’s investment, Mohit Khadaria, Co-founder of Sprect, expressed excitement about the partnership, citing Shetty’s track record in building exceptional teams and fostering innovation.
