LinkedIn: The number of crypto-related job postings increased nearly 400% in 2021

In the United States, job postings for candidates with domain knowledge and expertise in the area of cryptocurrency and blockchain increased by 395 percent in 2021, more than fivefold since 2020. According to a recent study by Linkedin, job demand in the general technology sector grew by only 98 percent.
The most common terms used in job descriptions and titles were bitcoin, ethereum, blockchain, and cryptocurrency, with the San Francisco Bay area, Austin, Texas, New York City, Miami-Fort Lauderdale, and Denver emerging as the top areas with the most crypto-related job postings in 2021.
This is a significant departure from the cities listed in 2020, which hosted the majority of cryptocurrency-related opportunities. San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill in North Carolina, Greater Philadelphia, and Los Angeles were among them.
While blockchain developers and engineers were in high demand, with software and finance leading the way, accounting, consulting, staffing, and computer hardware development professionals were also in high demand.
