Metaverse Startup XR Central raises $250K in seed funding

XR Central, on Wednesday, announced that it has secured $250K in a seed round headed by Tarun Tahiliani, one of India’s leading fashion designers, Amitabh Vira, the founder and CEO of Netprophets Cyberworks, and Nitin Sethi, SVP & Chief Digital Officer – Consumer Business at Adani Group. 

XR Central confirmed that the cash would be used to promote its vision for MetaQube, its Do-it-Yourself metaverse construction platform. The funds obtained will be used to facilitate development and design teams and grow into other markets. The funding will allow XR Central to expedite product development and extend its worldwide reach. 

XR Central, founded in 2020 by Anshul Agarwal and Shrey Mishra, is an interactive technology firm that assists businesses in creating metaverse experiences that have an effect. MetaQube by XR Central is a sleek and user-friendly DIY Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for creators and businesses looking to interact with their target audience in an immersive ecosystem. MetaQube has a well-defined collaboration suite, a hyper-realistic avatar engine, realistic 3D environments, immersive interactions, gamification, and social engagement modules, among other things. All MetaQube experiences are accessible across devices and are designed to function on 4G bandwidth. It also includes a low-code side where the internet community may expand on their metaverse experiences however appropriate.
