XpressBees partners with ONDC, offering nationwide delivery services

XpressBees, an e-commerce logistics firm, has partnered with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), enabling extensive delivery services across 20,000 pin codes in India. Leveraging its robust infrastructure and digital framework provided by ONDC, XpressBees aims to solidify its position within the e-commerce industry by optimizing order processing, tracking, and ensuring timely deliveries. The company’s technology-driven approach seamlessly integrates with online marketplaces, enhancing the overall customer experience.

In a recent Series G funding round, XpressBees successfully raised $80 million from Teachers’ Venture Growth (TVG), a late-stage venture arm of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. This significant investment supports XpressBees’ growth trajectory and aligns with the company’s future ambitions, as stated in their press release.

Moreover, the partnership with ONDC follows XpressBees’ acquisition of Trackon, a logistics and supply chain firm, marking its first acquisition since inception in 2015. This strategic move further strengthens their position in the e-commerce logistics landscape.

T Koshy, MD and CEO of ONDC, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating that “At ONDC, our vision is to create an open network that connects buyers, sellers, and intermediaries of all kinds with each other without any digital barriers, and logistics is most definitely a key component of this revolution. With XpressBees coming onboard, it will strengthen our logistics network, ultimately delivering a thriving e-commerce ecosystem.”
