Workplace productivity app Aerotime raises $2 million in its seed funding round

Aerotime has received $2 million in seed funding from Nexus Venture Partners, Y Combinator, Sequoia Capital India, SOMA Capital, and angel investors including Akshay Kothari (COO, Notion), Nir Eyal (NYTimes Bestselling author of Hooked & Indistractable), and Damien Coullon (VP Product, LinkedIn).
Most businesses operate on a manager’s schedule because it is extremely difficult to find time with them, resulting in spaced-out meetings on the calendar for everyone else. This calendar fragmentation is terrible for deep work, making work hours extremely inefficient.
Aerotime was founded in 2021 by Piyush Narwani and Dhruv Goel, both of whom have extensive product and engineering experience with Linkedin and AWS, respectively. Aerotime is a calendar that compensates for productivity losses caused by fragmented meetings and constant workplace distractions without altering the user’s workflow.

Piyush Narwani, co-founder of Aerotime said that time is one of the most valuable assets we have, yet we waste it without realizing it. Two of the most important reasons for this are prioritization and context switching. Aerotime enables you to be more intentional with your time and automates many workflows to save you time. The company’s vision is to assist humans in experiencing life in a flow state.
Aerotime intends to use the funds raised to expand into mid- to large-sized businesses where this issue is most visible. The product is now out of private beta and is being used by 70 teams from various companies.
