Vitraya Technologies bags Rs. 34 Cr in pre-Series A led by StartupXseed


Vitraya Technologies has raised Rs 34 crore ($4.1 million) in a pre-Series A round led by StartupXseed Ventures (Aaruha Technology Fund).

According to regulatory filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Vitraya Technologies’ board of directors passed a special resolution to issue 539 pre-Series A CCPS at Rs 93,981 each and 1,854 A-2 CCPS at Rs 1,56,634 per share to raise Rs 34 crore.

Vitraya Technologies reportedly raised more than $1.5 million from Season Two ventures in December 2021. The company competes with ClaimBuddy, which raised Rs 21 crore in February last year with Chiratae Ventures and Rebright Partners, ClainTherapist, and Bima Garage, among others.

Vitraya Technologies Private Limited is developing a technology platform to enable automated, real-time payouts and claims settlement between hospitals and healthcare providers, as well as insurers that provide health insurance products to consumers and businesses. It was founded on 18th February, 2019 by Mrinal Sinha. This is the Mohali-based company’s first round of funding this year.
