VC firm IvyCap Ventures appoints former Fosun Managing Director Tej Kapoor as its Managing Partner

Tej Kapoor, former Managing Director & Head of Beijing-based VC fund Fosun RZ Capital India, has joined IvyCap Ventures as its Managing Partner, as the business intends to “drive the next phase of growth and invest in industries like fintech, consumer tech, Web 3.0, gaming, and more.”

According to the company, the leader will be responsible for the strategic conceptualization and international expansion of Ivy Cap. Tej has over 15 years of expertise in the venture capital market.

 Tej worked at the Daily Mail Group of London and Naspers India before joining Fosun, whose portfolio includes Delhivery, Ixigo, Kissht, DOT Pay, Desty, Mylo, LetsTransport, Headfone, MakeMyTrip, and Trell. He has also been on the boards of businesses such as DotPe, Mylo, LetsTransport, Kissht, ixigo, and Delhivery.

“I’ve had the good fortune to witness the complete life cycle of a company, from early stage investment to IPO.” I would want to contribute my experience, global perspective, and skills to assist IvyCap in expanding its business. IvyCap has a robust portfolio and has produced ‘Dragon’ with the highest returns from it. “I intend to improve the portfolio, even more, assist entrepreneurs in scaling their firms, and bring value to the whole ecosystem,” Tej added.
