VAMA raises $1.25 Million in the seed round led by Filipino investor-entrepreneur Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng


VAMA raised $1.25 Million in the seed round led by Filipino investor-entrepreneur Lisa Gokongwei-Cheng. VAMA is a religious app or a virtual spiritual platform that was founded in  2020. They have already raised $500 earlier in this year. And also $750K in the one that was led by Huddle & 7 Square Ventures in march. With the fund, the company is planning to expand its service to a large extent by adding features such as live streaming of ‘darshan’ and ‘aartis’ and online donation.

VAMA’s existing backers 7 Square Ventures, Supermorpheus, and Harit Nagpal also participated in this round. As per resources, they are planning to collaborate with over 100 temples and venture into international markets such as the Middle East, USA, and Canada.

Manu Jain, Himanshu Semwal and Acharya Dev are the founders of the VAMA Company. The VAMA app will make it easy for people to book pujas, do mandir darshan, attend a daily aarti, brahman bhoj, collect donations and more and to make all mandir-related services available online. Its a virtual platform that provides easy access to customers from all over the world, they offer virtual puja remedies in temples. Through puja offerings, astrology services, and remedies, VAMA aims to provide a divine and fulfilling spiritual experience for its users.
