Uniqus Consultech Raises $10M in Series B Funding to Expand ESG and Accounting Solutions

Uniqus Consultech, a burgeoning firm specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) consulting alongside accounting and reporting services, has announced a successful $10 million Series B funding round. The investment was led by Nexus Ventures with additional funds coming from Sorin Investments.

Since its founding just over a year ago, Uniqus Consultech has shown impressive growth. The company has expanded its operations to eight cities worldwide, grown its team to more than 350 professionals, and now services over 150 clients. With a focus on innovative solutions, Uniqus has recently introduced an AI Assistant tailored for financial reporting and ESG frameworks, as well as a technology platform aimed at ESG data management.

Jamil Khatri, Co-Founder & CEO of Uniqus, expressed his enthusiasm about the recent developments, stating, “Our clients have been encouraging us to explore adjacent solutions and high-quality talent has been approaching us with new capabilities. The current round of funding will enable us to expand our solutions portfolio, explore new markets, and further accelerate our growth plans.” Khatri, alongside Sandip Khetan, both veterans in the consulting industry, launched Uniqus with a vision to integrate technology into traditional consulting services.

The company has established a significant presence in the US, India, and the Middle East. Sanjay Nayar from Sorin Investments highlighted the strategic importance of these markets, noting, “The company’s chosen markets of India, the US, and the Middle East all offer significant opportunities either due to their growth potential or their absolute size. The Uniqus team has continued to demonstrate their ability to execute to seize the significant opportunities before them.”
