Unilever appoints Hein Schumacher as new CEO

Unilever on Monday has named Hein Schumacher as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) succeeding Alan Jope, who will step down in July.
Schumacher, 51, joined Unilever as a non-executive director in October of last year and is currently the CEO of the Dutch dairy company FrieslandCampina.

The CEO of the London-based company, Jope, announced in September that he would retire at the end of 2023.
Unilever plc is a British Multinational Consumer Goods Company. The company is headquartered in London, England. Its subsidiaries include Hindustan Unilever, Unilever Indonesia, Ben & Jerry’s Unilever Japan and so on.
