Unacademy Appoints Sandhydeep Purri as Chief People Officer


Unacademy, India’s leading learning platform, has officially announced the appointment of Sandhydeep Purri as its Chief People Officer. With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, Sandhydeep brings a wealth of experience in driving business growth and transformation through a people-centric approach.

Before joining Unacademy, Sandhydeep served as the Chief People Officer at Sapphire Foods, where she was responsible for HR strategies across brands like Pizza Hut and KFC. Her previous role involved overseeing organization development and effectiveness initiatives at the Aditya Birla Group’s Retail Sector, encompassing Aditya Birla Retail (now More Retail), Pantaloons Fashion Retail, Madura Fashion and Garments, as well as stores and non-store facilities.

Sandhydeep Purri’s diverse career has touched various sectors, including Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Consulting, Information Technology, and Retail, with a global footprint spanning Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America markets.
