Ultimate Kho Kho Scores Series A Funding from UK-based BNP Group

Ultimate Kho Kho, a professional league, secures Series A funding from UK’s BNP Group, propelling native sports globally. Being the first of its kind in India, this investment is pivotal for Kho-Kho’s growth, strengthening BNP’s sports foothold and promoting indigenous sports worldwide.

Backed by Amit Burman and the Kho Kho federation, the league strives to invigorate this local sport. With support from various entities like Odisha Sports Development, GMR Sports, and more, the league has gained substantial traction.

The league’s successful debut season, reaching 164 million viewers and 225 million social media views, attracted BNP’s significant investment. Amit Burman views this partnership as a milestone, aiming to expand the league’s commercial presence and global fanbase.

This investment marks a significant step for indigenous sports, promising innovation and inspiration. BNP’s chairman echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the upliftment of grassroots sports and India’s emergence as a sports powerhouse.

Ultimate Kho Kho gears up for Season 2, having recently conducted a player draft, selecting 145 top players and 33 young talents across six franchises.
