UGRO Capital Limited Names Om Sharma as Chief Operating Officer

UGRO Capital Limited has appointed Mr. Om Sharma as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective from September 1, 2023. Mr. Om Prakash Sharma is a seasoned professional in Strategy and Digital Transformation, boasting over 20 years of experience in the financial services and consulting sectors. He has successfully led numerous projects in India and several other countries.
His areas of expertise include Digital Strategy, the establishment of sustainable capabilities to implement these strategies, managing large-scale transformation endeavors, and driving growth through digital means. Mr. Sharma holds an MBA with Dual Majors in Strategy and Finance from the Indian School of Business (ISB) and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) in Jaipur, India.
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Sharma will assume responsibility for overseeing the Technology, Operations, and Customer Service divisions of the company, ensuring their efficient and effective functioning. His diverse responsibilities play a pivotal role in the organization’s overall success. He will work closely with the Vice Chairman & MD and other senior leaders to formulate and execute the company’s strategic initiatives.
