Transindia Real Estate Limited Appoints Ram Walase as CEO

Transindia Real Estate Limited (formerly known as Transindia Realty & Logistics Parks Ltd), a prominent entity under the Allcargo Group, has announced the appointment of Mr. Ram Walase as its Chief Executive Officer. With this strategic move, Ram Walase will take charge of managing profit and loss responsibilities, drive business growth initiatives, and implement financial strategies for the Group’s real estate division.

Ram Walase, an esteemed alumnus of IIM Mumbai and formerly NITIE, brings a wealth of experience spanning 25 years across diverse sectors including real estate, infrastructure, project finance, public-private partnerships, and consulting. Prior to joining the Allcargo Group, Ram served as the Managing Director & CEO at VBHC Value Homes Private Limited.

In a statement welcoming Mr. Walase, Jatin Chokshi, Managing Director of Transindia Real Estate Limited, expressed optimism about the new appointment, emphasizing the strategic focus on enhancing real estate plans and operational efficiency within Transindia. He stated, “Ram’s arrival marks a strategic move aimed at strengthening our real estate plans and operational efficiency at Transindia.”

Following a recent restructuring, the Allcargo Group, led by Chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty, has undergone a demerger into four listed strategic business entities, namely Allcargo ECU Ltd, Allcargo Logistics Ltd, Allcargo Terminals Ltd, and Transindia Real Estate Ltd. This move underscores the Group’s commitment to optimizing operations and driving growth across its diversified business portfolio.
