The Kyrgyz Republic and the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council want to help women who want to start businesses


To encourage the growth and diversification of commercial and bilateral partnerships between the women founders and entrepreneurs of both regions, the Women’s League of Central Asia—Kyrgyzstan Republic—and the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council convened.

Asma Al Fahim, the chairwoman of the Abu Dhabi Business Woman Council, Noor Al Tamimi, a member of the council, and other members of the Abu Dhabi private sector were present at the meeting.

Elmira Bataeva, Vice President of the Kyrgyz Republic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Marat Sharshekeev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Asel Atabekova, Chairman of the Public Foundation-Women’s League of Central Asia of the Kyrgyz Republic, were all part of the delegation from the country.

“We would like to build on these strong relations by working together and exchanging knowledge and expertise to explore opportunities that establish the position of female entrepreneurs as major contributors to the economic growth,” said Asma Al Fahim.

She continued by saying that they hoped to increase the participation of female entrepreneurs in the trade exchange between the two regions and that they would work to seize important investment and trade opportunities in tourism, culture, and other sectors.

Asel added that women business owners will be crucial to the expansion of Krygyzstan’s economy. The League works to support female business owners with ideation and project promotion.
