Telangana will display Next-gen EV innovations at the Hyd E-mobility Week

Beginning on February 5th 2023, Hyderabad E-Mobility Week, a genuine representation of the worldwide EV ecosystem and technologies, will ignite the enthusiasm. Top international and local firms will display cutting-edge electrification technology, as well as novel EV and energy storage system products and solutions, throughout the week-long event.

Hyderabad E-Mobility Week’s sole industry partner is Apollo Tyres.

The Telangana Government’s signature event will run from February 5 through February 11 of 2023, with the inaugural Formula E race in India serving as its grand finale.

The Hyderabad E-Mobility Week theme is beginning to be spread throughout the city. Through the Hyderabad E-Mobility Week, a number of metro trains, TSRTC Pushpak buses, bus shelters, areas of the airport, and other public spaces are promoting the idea of celebrating the transition toward sustainability.

Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I & C) and Information Technology, discussed the Hyderabad E-Mobility Week (IT),

Govt. of Telangana said, “The Hyderabad E-Mobility Week will be one of the largest global platforms for EV companies and ancillary businesses to showcase their latest technologies, products and services that will shape the future of green mobility and will enrich the growing EV ecosystem of the state.”

“Telangana has always been a progressive state with its progressive policies and the state has been rated top three in the EODB ratings consistently over several years. The EV & ESS policy we released in 2020 has played a pivotal role in creating a conducive ecosystem for EV investments and making the state a favorable destination for EV and energy storage systems players,” added Ranjan.

Other government agencies and business partners that support the Hyderabad E-Mobility Week include Citreon, Amara Raja, Hyderabad Metro Rail, TSRTC, TSREDCO, and T-HUB.

India’s strengths and skills in the field of electric vehicles will be highlighted at the major event for both domestic and international audiences. There will be more than 1500 participants from various nations taking part in activities and presenting their cutting-edge EV goods and technology.

A number of electric mobility firms have established production bases in Telangana, which is quickly becoming a significant EV center in the nation.

Telangana has offered both fiscal and non-fiscal incentives to manufacturers and users to speed up the adoption of electric vehicles. Telangana is one of the very few states in India with a specialized Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Systems (EV & ESS) policy.

Telangana has also established ambitious goals for the generation of sustainable energy, which complements the infrastructure for charging electric vehicles. According to the public-private partnership (PPP) model, Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO), a nodal agency for implementing EV infrastructure, will install up to 1,000 EV charging stations across the state to meet the needs of the growing eco-friendly vehicle user base.

The state wants to be not only self-sufficient but also a center for the production of electric cars and energy storage systems on a worldwide scale as it promotes the quicker adoption of electric vehicles.
