T-Hub and Atal Incubation Centre Select 20 Startups to Drive Transformation in Indian Automotive Industry


T-Hub, a Hyderabad-based innovation hub and ecosystem enabler, has partnered with Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) to announce the selection of 20 startups for their program aimed at the automobile industry. The program has shortlisted 20 startups, including Triolt, Etric, Vihaan Electrix, Aurita Electric Utility Bikes, Tumpudi Automotive Pvt Ltd, Zero Sum, Bijliride, Transcent, TelioEV, TRiDE Mobility, CHARGEKART, Piqyu, Bid rYde, SunPlower Wind, LogiXair, Austhraa Motors, and C&G Green Energy, among others. These startups were meticulously chosen from over 230 applications, considering factors such as founder qualifications, business models, and product offerings.

In a statement, MSR (Mahankali Srinivas Rao), CEO of T-Hub, expressed the program’s objective of fostering a robust ecosystem to empower startups and facilitate innovative solutions in the automobile industry. The program aims to provide selected startups with access to mentorship, funding channels, and networking opportunities in the coming months. T-Hub has outlined focus areas for the program, including automotive technologies, connected vehicles, fleet management, clean mobility solutions, electric vehicles, and emerging vehicle technologies.

The three-month program is designed to offer startups one-on-one mentoring, group sessions, investor connections, and market pilots to support them in finding their initial customers, engaging with investors, accessing government incentives and grants, and structuring their businesses with new and innovative models. Rajesh Adla, CEO of AIC T-Hub Foundation, expressed confidence that the program will play a pivotal role in enabling startups to scale their businesses and drive innovation in the automobile industry.

The program, which began on April 5 and concludes on July 5, includes a Demo Day as the culmination of the program. Participating startups will have exclusive opportunities to connect with potential investors and customers, receive mentorship from industry experts, and network with other startups in the ecosystem. The program aims to provide startups with access to top-notch experts and resources to enhance their market understanding, refine their business strategies and product commercialization plans, and expedite the testing and certification process for their electric vehicles (EVs).

T-Hub has successfully conducted over 100 innovation programs to date, providing over 2000 startups, both national and international, with access to advanced technology, skilled talent, mentorship, customers, corporates, investors, and government agencies. AICs (Atal Incubation Centres) are incubation centres established under the Indian government’s flagship initiative, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), with the objective of providing essential support and resources to startups and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship across the country.

The previous cohort of startups in the program achieved remarkable success metrics, such as securing an Rs 8 crore customer order for Ermin Automotive, receiving a Rs 17 lakh grant for Nova Avenue, and gaining market access for startups like Smart City Maharashtra, Telangana Tourism, Goa Tourism, and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
