SUN Mobility partners with EVeez to deliver 10,000 electric two-wheelers by 2023

SUN Mobility has partnered with Gurugram-based EVeez to develop electric car subscription ecosystems for last-mile and middle-mile connection, delivery services, and in-campus mobility. In the following year, the collaboration hopes to deploy over 10,000 vehicles around the country.

To encourage widespread acceptance and use of EVs, EVeez and SUN Mobility intend to offer co-mobility as a solution, in which the same vehicle may be used for many reasons by multiple persons. EVeez will use SUN Mobility’s battery switching technology based on mobility-as-a-service for this deployment.

According to the plan, EVeez’s on-ground fleet would increase by about 200 vehicles per month. Around 250 cars have already been deployed as of this writing and are currently operating throughout Delhi-NCR.

“Our relationship with SUN mobility enables us to bridge the large gap in demand, supply, and maintenance of EVs for customers using Electric vehicles, especially for those using it for urban deliveries,” stated Abhishek Dwivedi, Co-Founder of EVeez.

“With the government and key industry players recognising battery-as-a-service to accelerate EV adoption, we want to further strengthen EV adoption in India in the two-wheeler category,” said Anant Badjatya, CEO of SUN Mobility.

SUN Mobility recently established a strategic relationship with LetsTransport, with the goal of adding over 2,000 vehicles to their fleet in the next year in order to increase the EV-based last-mile delivery market.
