Startups come back to the office after months of WFH as the pandemic ends


Now that the pandemic mania has waned, Edtech ventures like Byju’s, Unacademy, and Vedantu, as well as furniture startups like Pepperfry and Wakefit, are focusing on expanding their offline presence – into physical stores, or in some cases, opening their stores.

Experts feel that consumer startups should develop offline storefronts because of brand creation, expansion, and a large offline market.

Consumers seek personal interaction and visit businesses after the epidemic, which is proving difficult for consumer entrepreneurs. Most cash-rich online businesses are acquiring companies to enable them quickly establish an offline presence. It’s already obvious in the Edtech area, where students have acquired screen weariness over the pandemic’s two years.

The hybrid model gives users the benefits of online comfort and the offline experience. 

They offer a seamless transition and are still intermingled. There has been an upsurge in the presence of ‘Dark stores’. However, these transitions pose new challenges that were unforeseen by the enterprises.
