SportVot raises undisclosed seed funding led by Ankur Capital

Ankur Capital sponsored a Seed fundraising round for SportVot, a sports-tech firm. Capital A, SucSEED Innovation Fund, and Marwah Sports also took part in the round. The technology not only allows for low-resource streaming but also includes a rich layer of tools for editing, analyzing, and sharing video across several channels.
“The current round of funding will allow us to scale our product & technologies. We intend to expand into new locations around the country to provide access to live video capture for as many sports games as feasible. We are overjoyed to have our new investors on board, and I look forward to collaborating with them as we identify the next generation of athletic talent around the country “Sidhhant stated.

SportVot is India’s lone tech player concentrating on this field, thanks to its cutting-edge technologies. So far, it has aired over 18,000 sports contests, garnered 75 million views, and featured over 90,000 aspiring athletes. SportVot will make every match played in the most remote parts of the country available to scouts sitting in cities.

According to studies, sports viewership is growing as internet access increases.
