Spiritual tech platform Rgyan secures a funding of $162K from HNIs


Rgyan, an online spiritual community platform, has received another $162,000 in investment from HNI, a Paris-based firm. The funding will be used to hire additional employees and build new product features that will fulfil customers’ daily devotional and spiritual demands. The firm has now raised a total of $362,000 through this round of investment.

The Gurgaon-based company Rgyan is an online spiritual social network platform developed in 2021 by Umesh Khatri and Devendar Agarwal that allows users to access digital information and services in numerous categories like devotion, astrology, pilgrimage, wellbeing, art/society, mythology, and more.

Rgyan’s co-founder and CEO, Umesh Khatri, said, “People have been exploring things digitally for the past two years, and we at Rgyan are dedicated to offering a superior digital experience for our audience for their devotional/spiritual requirements, hence shifting the entire offline ecosystem to online through our community-led platform.”

Rgyan is a product of SoulGuide (SoulGuide Digital Pvt Ltd), which began as a blogging/classified platform in 2018. It now has over 3,000 content pieces and three to four million annual active users. Rgyan received a $200K seed fundraising round from angel investors in May 2022.

SoulGuide (SoulGuide Digital Pvt Ltd), a software firm founded in 2021 by Umesh Khatri and Devendar Agarwal, is focused on producing solutions to meet the spiritual, devotional, and wellness requirements of billions of consumers in India and throughout the world. Rgyan, the company’s initial product, has been classified as one of the few Indian and global web platforms in the spiritual content area since it launched in 2018.
