Simplilearn expands global leadership team, hires country manager and senior director

Asem Rostom has been named the country manager for the Middle East by Simplilearn, one of the top providers of certification training, and Vishal Shah has been named the senior director of enterprise sales for the United States. The additions are intended to improve and extend its teams across the globe.

Rostom has experience working in the school management and evaluation industries. He graduated from Istanbul’s Altinbas University. As a top sales and management executive, he has experience.

Rostom has had positions at Pearson VUE as the META manager and Cambridge University Press as the MENA IELTS manager. He has expertise in team development, workforce skill gap analysis, curriculum addition, sales, customer relationship management, and business planning.

Shah’s home office will be in Atlanta, Georgia. He will oversee some identified accounts across the US as well as the Southeast region of the country. Shah formerly served as the Southeast region’s enterprise account executive for Udemy and has more than 15 years of expertise in business sales. Shah, a KSU alum, has previously held positions with Coca-Cola, Global Payments, NCR, and Equifax.
