Shipturtle Secures Rs 3.5 Crore Seed Round Led by IPV

Shipturtle, a SaaS platform, recently secured a seed funding round of Rs 3.5 crore, with Inflection Point Ventures leading the investment. As per a press release, the company plans to use the funds to enhance its technology and broaden its customer base worldwide.

Sharad Kabra founded Shipturtle, whose plugin seamlessly integrates with popular cart platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce. Through its brand directory, the SaaS platform enables businesses and marketplace participants (including B2B, B2C, C2C, hyperlocal, and social platforms) to locate and connect with other brands using a no-code onboarding process. Following the connection, Shipturtle manages all product, inventory, order, and payment workflows, allowing brands and marketplaces to expand their operations with ease.

Shipturtle’s objective is to democratize e-commerce and provide numerous brands with access to additional selling channels beyond the likes of Amazon and Flipkart. By leveraging Shipturtle, any brand can effortlessly offer complementary brands to its customers, resulting in increased average order value (AOV), conversions, and revenue, while reducing customer acquisition cost (CAC). All of this can be achieved with zero investment or risk.

Shipturtle reports that it presently serves over 750 brands in 50 countries, assisting them in managing their marketplaces. The company’s founder, Sharad Kabra, was also a co-founder of myBageecha.com and gabbarfarms.com.
