SaaS platform Prolance raises $2 million in pre-Series A funding led by Foundamental, Axilor

Prolance, a SaaS company for interior design, has raised $2 Mn (INR 16 Cr) in a Pre-Series A round of funding that was led by Fundamental and Axilor with participation from Arali Ventures and Force Ventures in the funding round.

Prolance intends to utilise the additional capital to broaden its product offerings and increase its geographic reach throughout India.

Nandan Venkatachalam, principal and B2B Lead at Axilor said “Prolance is looking to automate the fragmented and highly complex $60 Bn interior design market in India. The team comes in with in-depth experience in the space, which gives them a unique advantage on product, distribution, and value addition to customers via its cloud manufacturing platform.

The founding members of Prolance have extensive backgrounds in interior design. HomeLane, which Parasuram and Harinath K co-founded, came before Prolance. MyHomeSpeaks and Bello Interiors were co-founded by Parasuram and Harinath K, respectively. While this was happening, Gururajan, Sathyanarayana, and Manoj K founded DeltaCADD solutions.

Harinath K said. “Prolance started with the mission to transform the interior design industry through technology, and our goal is to become the operating system for the Interior industry. Our growth in the last two years, along with near-universal appreciation from our clients is a testament to the strengths of our SaaS-based marketplace for interior design professionals,”.

According to Prolance, it has collaborated with well-known interior design companies including Godrej Interior, SquareYards, Landmark, Pepperfry, and NoBroker. Furthermore, it claimed that their platform is currently being used by over 1000 smaller interior companies.
