Push Sports Secures Rs. 80 Lakh Funding on Shark Tank India, Plans Expansion


Delhi-based sports-tech startup, Push Sports, has secured a significant round of funding amounting to Rs. 80 lakh at 4% equity on Shark Tank India. The investment, led by entrepreneurs Peyush Bansal, Co-founder of LensKart, and Vineeta Singh, CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, underscores the growing recognition of Push Sports’ impact on the sports education landscape in India. The startup is also raising a larger seed round and intends to utilize the funds to expand its team and operations to new cities.

Push Sports aims to transform the grassroots sports ecosystem by providing structured sports education delivered by trained coaches across ten sports for children aged 3 to 19 years. Their gamified assessment tools encourage physical activity and help develop technical and interpersonal skills, promoting holistic development.

With a vision to become “India’s New Playground,” Push Sports is revolutionizing the grassroots sports ecosystem through structured sports education programs, qualified coaches, and innovative technology-led interventions. The startup has already positively impacted over 6000 children across 15 locations in India and serves over 3000+ pay-to-play customers monthly. Over the next two years, Push Sports aims to reach 25,000+ schools/kids with expansions planned in 6 cities.

Push Sports builds and manages sports arenas in key cities, offering online booking for recreational activities and professional sports training on a pay-to-play model. The startup aims to bring the transformative power of sports to every doorstep by offering a full-stack sports solution that revolutionizes sports access and experiences. Apart from academic institutions, Push Sports has also attracted interest from professionals looking to become franchise owners.
