NSRCEL-IIMB Launches Campus Founders Program to Nurture Student Entrepreneurs

NSRCEL, the incubation arm of IIM Bangalore, has introduced Campus Founders, a student entrepreneurship program designed to support aspiring startup founders from colleges and recent graduates in transforming their innovative ideas into thriving businesses. The 4-month program is tailored to allow students to work on their ventures while pursuing their education.

Campus Founders is designed to be inclusive, welcoming students from diverse academic backgrounds. Participants, whether they have startup ideas or working prototypes, will receive guidance on developing minimum viable products (MVP) and strategies for achieving product-market fit. Over the course of four months, they will have access to workshops, hands-on mentorship, and the opportunity to interact with experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts who will provide guidance throughout their entrepreneurial journey.

Milind M Manoj, CEO of PupilMesh, a startup from a previous NSRCEL cohort, shared insights from his journey as a student entrepreneur at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore: “My entrepreneurial journey with NSRCEL began in 2018. Being fresh out of college with no prior experience in running a business, NSRCEL provided us with the exposure needed to quickly grasp the fundamentals of operating a venture. NSRCEL’s resources allowed us to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and industry experts, enabling us to bring our solutions to the market.”

NSRCEL’s Campus Founders program equips budding entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills necessary for running successful startups. By program completion, participants will have access to guidance to refine their business models, establish a validated revenue stream, create a growth-focused product roadmap, attain product-market fit, explore funding possibilities, and cultivate a dedicated customer base. Additionally, the program instills a sense of responsibility and resilience, preparing participants to develop and manage businesses for sustainable growth.
