MyMandi raises INR 40 million in seed funding from Real Time Angel Fund

According to the media, MyMandi has raised INR 40 million in a seed fundraising round led by the industry-agnostic angel fund Real-Time Angel Fund (RTAF), with participation from LetsVenture. Cart pushers in Gwalior might find work on MyMandi, an online marketplace. The goal of this B2B marketplace is to provide those who push carts access to everything they could possibly need in one convenient location.

The capital will be used to strengthen the cart-pusher community via improved technology and distribution. It was also reported that over the next five years, RTAF plans to deploy the whole 100 Cr fund in pre-seed to pre-series rounds of funding for firms with a strong technological component.

As of July, more than ninety venture capital, private equity, and debt firms have announced the launch of new funds. Nonetheless, there has been a decrease in this in recent months as well. According to Fintrackr’s statistics, four new funds were announced in August (Fundamentum, Stride Ventures, Merak Ventures, and Cactus Ventures), but only two (Elevv8 Venture Partners and StartupXseed) were launched in September.
