MS Dhoni backs plant-based protein startup Shaka Harry

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a former captain of India, has purchased equity in the plant protein start-up, Shaka Harry, the business announced on Tuesday. Better Bite Venture, Blue Horizon, and Panthera Peak Ventures led a seed fundraising round for the firm that developed plant-based mock meat, which got USD 2 million.

Manu Chandra, a chef, is one of the company’s other investors. Speaking to the media about the collaboration, Dhoni said he loves chicken but is now aiming for a balanced diet. With Shaka Harry’s extensive selection of items, which offer a healthy alternative to classic meat dishes, he claimed, it is much simpler.
