QueueBuster, a mobile-based POS tool, has raised $8.16 million (about Rs 63.3 crore) in a Series A round headed by Chiratae Ventures, Omidyar Network India, and Flourish Ventures. Unaprime Investment Advisors (an exclusive lender to QueueBuster) and DMI Alternative Investment Fund (the Sparkle Fund) also took part. The funds will be used to focus on merchant expansion, product upgrades, and distribution network scalability.
Varun Tangri, the company’s founder and CEO stated that in today’s world, merchants are bombarded with a profusion of standalone applications for any minor or large necessity. Unfortunately, none of those programmes provides them with a comprehensive set of functionality to efficiently manage their end-to-end operations. Merchants may easily manage their whole company operations using QueueBuster. The firm’s goal is to reach at least 10 million retailers by the year 2025.
QueueBuster is a full-stack mobile PoS application that manages billing, inventory, khata (daily ledger), online dukaan, customers, and loyalty programmes all from a single app, launched in 2016 by a team of second-time entrepreneurs led by Varun Tangri. The SaaS solution is suitable for a variety of industries, including kirana and retail, restaurants, fashion and clothing, and autos. QueueBuster is compatible with all Android devices, including the newly released Android-based credit/debit card swipe machines.

Chiratae Ventures’ Founder and Vice Chairman, TCM Sundaram stated that in the Android PoS business, the QueueBuster team has over eight years of expertise. In terms of functionality, user experience, and cost-effectiveness, it has created a highly comprehensive solution for MSMEs. Its determination to deliver the greatest after-sales service to MSMEs would be a key factor in its success in the MSME sector.
Amol Warange, the director of Omidyar Network India said that QueueBuster collaborates with banks and payment firms to deliver cheap technological solutions to small merchants, aligning with our objective to improve the financial health and resilience of MSMEs. QueueBuster is assisting these small merchants in digitising business vital activities, therefore boosting the efficiency of their day-to-day operations in a quickly digitising environment.
